Our client, a leading company in the cannabis industry, is seeking an experienced Demand and Supply Chain Analyst to join their growing team.
As the Demand and Supply Chain Analyst, you will need to communicate effectively internally and externally with many of their partners, as you will be responsible for the procurement of goods and maintaining inventory.
PMP certification and a fundamental understanding and working knowledge of the cannabis industry is a big plus.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Work with partners in order to maintain overall inventory based on demand
Utilize forecasting and historical demand/data to determine and establish inventory levels
Establishes process for physical inventory review and count to have accurate counts of on-hand inventory
Communicate with suppliers and able to analyze cost effectiveness of current contracts
Review and execute contracts with suppliers
Reviews and ensures quality of goods purchased
Supports Sales and Marketing team in establishing product pricing strategies
Tracks department costs to ensure adherence to operating budget
Provides input and data to support budgeting
Performs logistics coordination for most cost effective sourcing
Must create, update and maintain inbound receiving schedule for materials
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree or higher in related field required
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Strong database reporting experience
Responsible for inventory levels
Ensure material compliance within the supply chain and preparing certification of compliance for customers as requested
Extensive knowledge of supply chain planning/execution concepts, manufacturing and material management functions, and financial/cost account practices
Must have the ability to adapt and evolve as this fast growing company in the cannabis industry grows and matures.
Salary Range: $75-85K Plus Benefits
