POSITION: Accounts Payable/Cash Applications
FULLTIME: Assignment 6 month contract, possibly will extend pending on performance.
LOCATION: Atlanta, GA
SCHEDULE: 40/HRS
PAY RANGE: $27.97/HR

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Major Job Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
• Incoming Cash entry application:
• To apply lockbox payments
• To apply manual checks in the system and deposit the checks using Remote Deposit Systems
• To apply incoming wires, ACH and EFT
• To post entries into system of records
• Vendor account maintenance: to prepare vendor payment reporting etc.
• Imaging backup maintenance: to ensure the integrity of document imaging (such as journal entries backup etc.)
• Unapplied Cash application research: to assist in researching open items and outstanding checks in Suspense account
• Ability to communicate across and up the organization and must be able to work independently and is not afraid to make a decision and act on it
Individuals typically have 1-3 years of experience. Bachelor degree or equivalent preferred.
Required Skills:
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, Intermediate Microsoft Excel knowledge, familiarity with report writing tools, attention to detail, logical research ability, able to work independently, basic accounting knowledge
Desired Skills:
Reporting, Database/Data warehouse knowledge – Microsoft Access/Toad, Leasing knowledge
