IT Support Analyst - Costa Mesa, CA

A rapidly growing, global manufacturing company is seeking an IT Support Analyst to join their growing Information Technology team. Reporting to the IT Director, the role will focus on IT support and IT design for the company. This is an excellent role for an experienced IT Support Analyst or a new grad looking to kick off their IT career with a global, rapidly growing company.

Responsibilities

• Advise on design, establishment, and maintenance of network infrastructure for local and wide area connectivity and remote access.
• Manage nightly data backups and maintain backup/recovery infrastructure.
• Be lead on all support tickets that come into the system for Costa Mesa, Hong Kong, Beijing and Brazil
• Support the day-to-day computer operations and assess technology needs.
• Propose hardware/software solutions to accomplish the company's business objectives.
• Play key role in the negotiation of existing contracted information services, new computers and equipment, and software purchased for the corporation.
• Create documentation including cost-benefit analysis, definitions of data requirements, and departmental workflows.
• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the IT department to support administrative computing, networking, user services, telecommunications and other information technology functions, including data security
• Assess new opportunities and make recommendations for improvements.
• Develop and assist with implementing security standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple platforms.

Qualifications

• IT certifications or a four year college degree preferred
• Strong familiarity with a multitude of software, platforms and programs with emphasis on Microsoft technologies.
• Basic Knowledge of common software issues (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, antivirus programs).
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues (e.g., computers, printers, networking devices).
• Basic understanding of networking concepts like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills and thrives in a collaborative, entrepreneurial  environment
