Counter Sales/Warehouse

Overview – We are currently seeking a versatile individual with ability to function in a dual (hybrid) role with our company who will interact daily with our customer base of Retail homeowners, Tile Contractors, Builders/Remodelers and Floorcovering Dealers.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to learn/use computer software to enter, process, and track orders placed by our customers in a timely and accurate manner.
• Receive/process credit card, cash and company check payments.
• Provide freight quotes/delivery fees applicable to inbound/outbound orders.
• Learn/understand trucking logistics in order to provide accurate ETA information to the customers and sales team.
• Communicate to customers and the sales team about any delays, back orders or issues with orders placed in our system.
• Notify customers when orders arrive.
• Ability to operate Reach truck forklift as well as standard sit-down forklift.
• Load/unload shipments or customers as needed.
• Pick/pull orders.
• Learn and perform shipping/receiving processes.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma as a minimum.
• Excellent grammar and communication skills.
• Good customer service skills
• Ability to operate a Reach truck forklift as well as standard sit-down forklift.
• Proficiency in working on a computer, data entry, order processing.
• Cash and credit card handling.
