Tier One Supplier to Hyundai and Kia needs an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their team!!!

Schedule: 3rd shift - 10:00 pm to 06:30 am


Job Summary:

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular inspections of industrial machinery and equipment to identify potential issues or malfunctions.
  • Conduct troubleshooting activities to diagnose equipment problems and determine appropriate repair solutions.
  • Carry out repairs, adjustments, or replacements of defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and calibration to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with production personnel to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to workflow.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repair logs, parts inventory, and equipment performance data.
  • Follow safety protocols and comply with company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Stay updated on industry advancements, equipment manuals, and technical specifications to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
  • Collaborate with vendors and external contractors for specialized repairs or equipment servicing as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • YOU MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A HAIR DRUG SCREEN
  • Additional technical certifications or vocational training in industrial maintenance is preferred.
  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance, including troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Solid understanding of industrial machinery and equipment, such as motors, conveyors, pumps, compressors, and production lines.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and adherence to regulatory guidelines in an industrial setting.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks, lift heavy objects, and work in various environmental conditions.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, vendors, and contractors.
