Field Service Technician / Servicetechniker (m/w/d) – Equipment & Automation

Location: Lower Saxony / Bremen / Osnabrück region (Home Office)

Work Type: At customer sites and based at home. Very little or no overnight travel.

 

Language: German and English.

Summary:

A global chemical company needs a technical service person to work with automated chemical dosing and monitoring systems at paper manufacturing customers. Will work with technical team and sales team. A lot of support.

 

• Install, commission, and maintain automated chemical dosing systems at customer sites
• Perform routine sampling and basic water quality checks (no advanced chemistry knowledge required)
• Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize small pumps, control units, and digital monitoring equipment
• Perform testing to optimize chemical dosing in paper plants. All training to do the tests.
• Work with account manager, others on technical support team to assist and work with customers
• Work independently on own schedule.
• Should be home each night unless you live at the edge of the area.

  Profile/Requirements:

• Some experience with process equipment, auto-dosing units, process monitoring systems, small pumps, etc.
• 1-2 years of experience. This can include apprenticeship
• Will consider more experience.
• Good to have some technical education
• Strong mechanical and digital skills; comfortable working with industrial equipment and control systems
• Valid driver’s license
