Reliability Engineer

West Valley City, UT

A large company is looking for a reliability engineer to lead reliability and asset engineering and management efforts and projects at multiple sites for a chemical/materials company. .

 

Key Must Haves:

• Mechanical or similar engineering degree
• Significant rotating equipment experience in plants
• Combo of maintenance and reliability experience 
• MUST have majority of experience in chemical, minerals, refining and similar plants 

Info:

• Part of small central maintenance and reliability// asset management team for multiple sites
• Approximately 25% travel regionally
• Extensive work with rotating equipment - large pumps, compressors, motors, etc
• Also responsibilities with fixed equipment, pressure vessels, etc.
• Mix of maintenance and reliability engineering
• RCM (can work with related) management for sites or projects 
• Key part of capital program management team
  
• Criticality and risk analysis work
• Manage projects - alone or as part of team for larger projects

 

Requirements:

• 4 year degree in mechanical or similar engineering
• Minimally 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering/reliability in an appropriate plant setting. More experience is great.
• RCM experience great; can have other formal reliability engineering experience
• Used to/willing to be in an chemical/oil/utilities industries
• Legal to work in the U.S. legally, not needing a visa now or at a later date

Salary is approx $130,000 - $154,000 depending on experience. Relocation available

Potentially can be in AZ or CA
