Maintenance Manager

Company is a multi-faceted, complex speciality materials manufacturing and distribution company needing a maintenance manager for multi-plant operations in California. Lead the continuous improvement and management of the maintenance program, CMMS, etc

KEY:

• Experienced in RCM and/or TPM in minerals, inorganic chemicals, materials manufacturing, etc.
• Product manufacturing and oil refining likely not applicable
• BS in mechanical engineering preferred (discuss alternatives)
• Rotating equipment and a lot of dry process and hot processing experience
• 15+ years experience in maintenance/reliability personnel and system management

 

More Specifics:

• Manage the maintenance department at an active manufacturing operation. Some 30 people in department
• Report to GM as do plant managers
• Must do both operating (maintenance) and capital budgets. Large capex projects coordinated with corporate.
• Hire/fire/develop/train/promote your people!
• Managed NDT (thermographic, ultrasonic, vibration, oil, etc, analysis programs)
• Manage and improve a TPM system; continue implementation and improvement of RCM
• Manage and integrate all work with site safety EHS
• Manage automation + electrical "shop" maintenance manager and systems, etc.
• CMMS is TabWare. Online CMMS; if you know one, that's great. SAP experience is also great!

Required:

• Must not need now, or in the future, any visa or sponsorship with the possible exception of TN or E-3 visa.
• 4 years degree in engineering (discuss alternatives with a lot of applicable experience)
• Over 10 years of applicable experience in the applicable maintenance/reliability type work
• You will work in an operating plant with hundreds of people - used to working within an excellent safety program upon which you can manage your group

 

Compensation is $130k - 155k; bonus, relocation program.
