Reliability Engineer

Santa Maria, CA

A specialty mineral and material processing company  is looking for a reliability engineer to lead reliability engineering efforts for the multi-plant  maintenance/reliability team

Key:

• Technical or 4-year degree
• Significant experience in reliability in a heavy manufacturing or minerals/cement/power/foundry industry.
• MUST be used to working on site/in plants. This is not a desk or remote position. 

Info:

• Part of small central maintenance and reliability// asset management team for multiple sites
• Manage NDT (with crew and contractors)
• Specific knowledge and application experience with vibration analysis required
• A lot of work with rotating equipment - more process than compressor type equipment 
• Work with burners, emissions controls/treatment, etc
• Well-versed in use of CMMS (can train for their system)
• Asset management - including life cycle, criticality analysis, availabilities, etc 
• Management of projects with team; technical management of reliability projects.
• Work with and integrated with maintenance team 

Requirements:

• Degree (4 year or 2) plus certs in reliablity
• Cat II vibration great!  
• Minimally 3 years of experience in mechanical reliability in an industry such as power, mining/minerals, cement, chemicals, heavy solid materials processing. 
• Used to/willing to be in an chemical/oil/utilities industries
• Legal to work in the U.S. legally, not needing a visa now or at a later date

Salary is approx $120,000 - $140,000 depending on experience. Relocation available
