Senior HR Generalist

Confidential - CHARLESTON, SC

Our client is an industry leader specializing in long-term rentals headquartered in South Carolina. They operate in various locations across Midwest and South regions.

Ideal Candidate:

5-7 years of solid HR Generalist Experience with a strong focus on employee retention, training, compensation, safety and compliance, D&I, FMLA,     

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • ERR (Employee Relations & Retention) - i.e. performance management, exit interviewing, policy implementation, etc.
  • Liaison for Workman's Comp, FLMA, LOA, PEO, etc. 
  • Partners with leadership to improve morale
  • Conducts internal audits
  • Assesses and improves safety and compliance procedures
  • Partners with all internal departments to achieve continuity
  • Oversees annual compensation processes
  • Develops and implements job descriptions and comp ranges
  • POC for HR vendors
  • Partners with executive leadership on training
  • Assists in developing departmental objectives, goals, and systems
  • Expert in HRIS (Bamboo)

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • 5+ years of human resource experience (required)
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Real Estate, or related field (required)
  • Masters' degree in human resources, business administration or related field (preferred)
  • SHRM Certified Professional: (PHR-CP or SHRM-CP) 
  • Experience with hourly, overtime, temp, and remote employees. 
  • Experience in the property management or real estate industry (preferred)
  • Experience with a start-up company in a fast-pace environment (quick growth and high degree of change.)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with HRIS (Bamboo preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with Project Management and Program Implementation

Compensation: $75,000 - $80,000
