JOB SUMMARY: The Vice President of Property Management will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the property management division of the organization in the North-East region. In addition, this individual will supervise and manage over several Regional Managers. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage various operational phases of company’s current and growing portfolio Establish and monitor various business strategies for effectiveness and profitability Evaluate operating costs and ensure timely budget execution Provide guidance and leadership support to team members through advisership Develop career advancement plans and identify potential leaders Represent company’s property management division Analyze and identify market trends to determine potential economic impact on portfolios Establish performance goals for all direct reports and conduct employee evaluations Maintain suitable flow of information between senior leadership and on-site teams Point of contact for external business partnerships and/or investor inquiries regarding property management operations Conduct interviews, present offers, and oversee training of new management hires as well as making executive decisions on employee terminations Direct implementation of company’s policies and procedures, and maintain compliance with all federal/state/local laws and regulations Demonstrate a commitment to the mission and values of the organization and the community QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ years of recent residential property management experience Experience overseeing a large multifamily portfolio Familiarity with affordable housing, LIHTC, etc. Ability to “hit the ground running” (resilient and adaptable) Ability to convert metrics and data analysis into revenue generation, expense management, and customer satisfaction Proven track record of growing a multi-regional portfolio Experience addressing employee issues and training Must be creative, detail oriented, and have a professional demeanor Must have a humble disposition and strong interpersonal relationship skills Must be highly organized and methodical Strong proficiency in Yardi software (required)
