Exciting Assistant Controller Opportunity with Fast Path to Controller!

For over 50 years, this professional services company has been a leader in architectural design for projects in industries including education, senior living and affordable housing. They are seeking a leader with passion, skill, and experience in month-end reporting and analysis. This position will partner with the Controller (moving to the CFO role) to train as their successor. You will lead an accounting team and partner with them to continuously enhance the financial reporting.

Key duties include:

• Monthly financial reporting and reconciliations
• Cash Management
• Work-In-Progress analysis
• Prepare year-end audit workpapers
• Complete Annual Financial Analysis for Shareholders’ Meeting
• Maintain Tax Compliance Schedule and complete Tax Filings (corporate/payroll)
• Review employee medical benefits and work with broker on updating/renewing benefits
• Supervise Contract invoices and Hourly and Reimbursable invoices
• Train and lead accounting team
