Amazing Vice President of Finance Opportunity!

The 75 year-old, family owned agricultural products business is adding a VP of Finance to one of divisions. This role will partner with the Business Unit President and Senior VP Team to drive revenue growth, enhance margins, and support of the company’s strategy. In addition, you will lead the accounting team, ensuring a timely financial close process and accurate financial reporting. The role is responsible for designing and maintaining an effective internal control environment, including compliance with corporate accounting policies.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Build a high performing accounting team capable of delivering financial planning, reporting, and analysis necessary to drive business results
• Lead the mark-to-market accounting processes related to the agricultural commodity positions
• Manage all pricing functions
• Collaborate with Corporate treasury on liquidity requirements and cash flow
• Direct the budgeting and forecasting processes
• Develop the long-term financial strategies and business development opportunities
• Collaborate with Corporate IT on financial system upgrades

An accounting expertise in understanding derivatives used in agricultural commodity hedging programs as well as cost ownership over cash inventory positions is required. Preferred experience also includes Power BI, along with ERP upgrade leadership.
