Job Title: Gardener / Landscaping Services Provider

Location: Richmond, Virginia

Job Summary:

Our HOA is looking for a top-notch Gardener landscaping and maintenance services for the Townhomes community. You'll be responsible for planting, maintaining, and caring for a variety of plant materials, trees, and shrubs, ensuring our community remains a stunning place to live.  This will only be part time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planting and Maintenance:

  • Plant and maintain a variety of plants, shrubs, bushes, and trees.
  • Replace and update plant materials as needed.
  • Perform weed control, pest treatment, and disease control.
  • Monitor plant health and address deficiencies.

• Scope of Work:

  • Conduct necessary excavation and grading.
  • Communicate with the Association for approval on extensive work and subcontractor use.

• Quarterly Reviews and Reporting:

  • Participate in quarterly walk-throughs to discuss property needs.
  • Share expertise with the Association to maintain and improve the landscape.
  • Provide a seasonal work plan for approval.

• Professional Conduct and Coordination:

  • Maintain a professional demeanor and coordinate with other contractors.
  • Ensure free access to work areas and communicate with lot owners as needed.
  • Keep work areas clean and safe, removing waste material daily.

• Insurance and Permits:

  • Maintain required insurance.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience in landscaping and gardening, including plant care and maintenance.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of local plant species and landscaping techniques.
• Certifications: Appropriate certifications and licenses as required by local regulations.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with the Association and other contractors.
• Professionalism: High standard of professional conduct and ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Working Conditions:

• Physical Demands: Physical labor, including lifting, bending, digging, and operating machinery.
• Work Environment: Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
