Senior Systems Engineer – Software Integration & Cloud Services
Location: Remote (Washington, DC area preferred but not required)

This role will primarily focus on requirements development, leveraging tools such as DOORS and JIRA within Agile and traditional methodologies. Core Responsibilities:
Develop, manage, and maintain system-level requirements using DOORS, ensuring precise documentation and traceability.
Lead integration and testing (I&T) activities for software applications, verifying system compatibility and functionality against specified requirements.
Generate comprehensive test procedures for validating software components, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and performance.
Support Requirements Readiness Reviews, system verification, and develop final testing reports.
Execute detailed software tests, reporting clearly and effectively on results and any identified issues.
Collaborate closely within an Agile environment, utilizing JIRA for requirements tracking and workflow management.

Amazon Aurora or RDS
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 10-12 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Integration, and Testing.
Proven experience using Rational DOORS for requirements management and documentation.
Strong proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
Extensive hands-on experience in cloud service integration and management (AWS ecosystem).
Exceptional skills in documentation, validation, and software testing practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Atlassian suite (Confluence, Bitbucket, Crucible, Insight).
Experience operating effectively within distributed and remote team environments.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
Security and Clearance:
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance required
