Select Source Solutions is seeking an experienced Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to oversee and enforce the cybersecurity posture of U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA) systems in Boulder, CO. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with deep expertise in DoD cybersecurity policy, governance, and incident response management. The ISSM ensures compliance with Department of Defense Risk Management Framework (RMF) standards and Air Force-specific cybersecurity directives.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary technical cybersecurity advisor to USAFA leadership.
Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity program in accordance with DoDI 8510.01, AFI 17-130, and AFI 17-101.
Define and enforce cybersecurity architecture, policies, and processes.
Lead the organization’s cyber incident response efforts and manage secure network access protocols.
Maintain and improve the system security posture through risk assessments, audits, and compliance evaluations.
Supervise and mentor cybersecurity personnel, ensuring adherence to current best practices and regulations.
Interface with internal and external auditors, assessors, and government compliance officers.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an ABET-accredited or CAE-designated institution.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in information systems security or related field.
Must possess and maintain a current IT Tier 5 security background investigation.
Must hold one or more of the following certifications (and keep it current):

Federal IT Security Professional – Manager (FITSP-M)
GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA)

Salary range is: $85,947–$158,732. This is a proposal position on a government contract.
