Select Source Solutions is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented GovCon Program Scheduler to manage integrated program schedules in a hybrid Microsoft and Jira environment. This role supports complex government contracts by ensuring accurate planning, tracking, and reporting of project milestones, deliverables, and timelines. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Microsoft scheduling tools, experience with Jira integration, and a strong understanding of federal contract execution standards including EVM and DCMA schedule compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using Microsoft Project and other Microsoft scheduling tools as the primary platforms.
Operate within a Jira-based environment, integrating Microsoft schedules with Jira and Jira Advanced Roadmaps to align technical workflows with program timelines.
Conduct schedule analysis including critical path, baseline variance, and risk assessments; support data-driven decision-making across the program lifecycle.
Ensure alignment between contract deliverables, technical execution, and program milestones across multiple task orders or workstreams.
Collaborate with program managers, technical leads, and control account managers (CAMs) to collect inputs, validate dependencies, and maintain schedule integrity.
Prepare high-quality schedule reports, Gantt charts, and status updates for internal reviews and government-facing deliverables.
Ensure compliance with DCMA 14-point assessment criteria, Earned Value Management System (EVMS) standards, and other applicable federal scheduling guidelines.
Support PMO functions by contributing to resource forecasting, milestone tracking, and risk mitigation planning.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
6–8 years of professional scheduling experience supporting federal government contracts.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project and related Microsoft scheduling tools.
Working knowledge of Jira and Jira Advanced Roadmaps, with experience integrating or aligning these tools with Microsoft-based schedules.
Strong understanding of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Integrated Master Plans (IMP), and Earned Value Management (EVM).
Experience ensuring scheduling compliance with DCMA or similar federal oversight requirements.
Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting defense, intelligence, or civilian agency programs under DCMA or EVMS surveillance.
Familiarity with ANSI/EIA-748 standards, proposal schedule development, or IDIQ/task order contract structures.
Certifications such as PMI-SP (Scheduling Professional) or PMP are a plus.
