Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team in Wayne, NJ. The successful candidate will have experience operating press brakes and be knowledgeable in metal fabrication processes. Familiarity with the FX41 Cidan machine is preferred but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and set up press brake machines to form metal sheets according to engineering specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately produce components.
- Ensure precision in measurement and adjustments to maintain consistent quality.
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting press brake equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance production efficiency and safety standards.
- Conduct quality control checks on products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a relevant metal fabrication role.
- Familiarity with FX41 Cidan machines is advantageous but not required.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant certifications in machining or fabrication are a plus.
