Position Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Payroll Processor for our Skilled Nursing Facilities ( SNF ) in Valley Stream, New York. This is a full-time, in-person position, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Qualifications of the Senior Payroll Processor:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Proficiency with payroll software (ADP, Paychex, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll tax laws and regulations.
• Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with multi-state payroll processing

Responsibilities of the Senior Payroll Processor:

• Process bi-weekly payroll for employees accurately and on time.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Calculate and process garnishments, deductions, and benefits.
• Prepare and file quarterly and year-end payroll tax returns.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
