Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 Annual Salary

Position Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Medicaid Compliance Specialist for our Skilled Nursing Facility ( SNF ) in Winston Salem, North Carolina. This is a full-time, hybrid position, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.
Qualifications of the Medicaid Compliance Specialist:
Deep understanding of Medicaid applications, eligibility, redetermination, and reimbursement processes, ideally in the state of North Carolina.
2+ years of experience as a Business Office Manager or similar financial leadership role in a long-term care or post-acute setting.
Have existing relationships with Medicaid personnel
Familiarity with HIPAA, CMS, and North Carolina state-specific regulations
Experience supporting multiple facilities as a resource to other BOMs and teams across a region.
Responsibilities of the Medicaid Compliance Specialist:
Work with General Counsel on compliance initiatives, audits, and appeals related to Medicaid billing and resident status.
Report to the General Council and Accounts Receivable Manager.
Work alongside the BOM to ensure documentation aligns with Medicaid requirements.
Keep up to date with Medicaid requirements with information flowing to the Regional MDS.
