Chief Human Resource Officer ( CHRO ) for our Skilled Nursing Facility ( SNF )
Compensation: $175,000 - $200,000 Annual Salary

Position Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Chief Human Resource Officer ( CHRO ) for our Skilled Nursing Facility ( SNF ) in Five Towns, New York. This is a full-time, in-person position, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Qualifications of the Chief Human Resource Officer ( CHRO ):

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (MBA or MHA preferred).

  • 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, ideally within healthcare or another highly regulated environment, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role.

  • Expertise in healthcare workforce regulations, union negotiations, HRIS systems, and developing organization-wide talent and compensation strategies.

Responsibilities of the Chief Human Resource Officer ( CHRO ):

  • Develop and execute HR strategy aligned with the organization’s mission, values, and long-term goals, especially in areas like talent acquisition, retention, and workforce planning.

  • Oversee all HR functions including employee relations, compensation and benefits, talent

    development, compliance, and labor relations.
  • Lead organizational change and culture initiatives—helping to build a positive, high-performance workplace aligned with healthcare best practices.

  • Advise executive leadership and department heads on workforce trends, staffing models,

    succession planning, and employee engagement strategies.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with federal, state, and healthcare-specific employment laws (e.g., Joint Commission standards, OSH HIPAA).
