Job Title: IT Coordinator

Department: Information Technology

Summary:
The IT Coordinator is a tech-savvy administrative professional with great communication skills and a deep interest in information technology. This individual is responsible for supporting administrative areas, general operations, and gathering software requirements in the IT department. This position reports directly to the Vice President, Information Technology.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Administrative tasks including compiling weekly team reports and maintaining meeting agendas, taking notes, and other administrative areas as assigned.
  • Performing end-user technical awareness outreach as required.
  • Delivering in-person and remote training/presentation on new software to end users, and conducting new employee orientation.
  • Documentation and training activities including drafting end user/software, web application, “how to use” instructions, quick reference cards, etc.
  • Maintaining project timelines, gathering technical requirements from business and department users, and testing new software, apps, systems, etc.
  • Drafting and filing basic IT reports, taking meeting notes.
  • Performing preliminary audit report reviews, and filing; sending IT audit reminders.
  • General IT operations support and coordination including set up meetings, drafting IT forms, end-user tickets, and performing other general activities/responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • 2 to 3 years of professional experience in IT Coordinator or a similar role.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience working in an association/law firm, or in a similar professional services environment.
  • Expertise in using Microsoft Office programs, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Some experience in maintaining project timelines and gathering technical requirements from business users.
  • Basic understanding of Project Management and SDLC principles.

This position may require overtime. Candidate must be flexible to work overtime if needed.

Location:
Currently operating on a hybrid work schedule with in-person requirements on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in its Washington, DC office.
