We are seeking a contractor for a 1-year project with possibility of extension or going permanent. Responsible for management of the entire project lifecycle from project definition/scope through implementation.

Develop project plan and drive project milestones. Employ project management methodologies and tools, like MS Project. Identify, coordinate, and manage resources and key stakeholders for project. Ensure effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project. Manage all communication plans, training and documentation. Deliver projects on time, at/under budget and within scope. Communicate project status to all stakeholders on a regular basis throughout the lifecycle of the project.

Position requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills. Expert knowledge of MS Project, Excel, MS Word and Visio.

Planning, delivery, and management of a range of tasks and deliverables required to successfully launch and run a collaborative project focused on harnessing technology and partnerships to power financial security for older adults.

Assist Program Manager in providing program oversight and support, including coordinating and scheduling Senior Planet programs.

Identify cross-functional dependencies and coordinate the completion of project deliverables across all phases of the project.

Plan and manage project resources, identify gaps, and spearhead procurement efforts when necessary.

Continually monitor project status and present updates to stakeholders and organization leadership.

Escalate project issues in a timely fashion while working to identify alternatives and impacts.
