Business & Program Manager for Satellite

 We are looking for a person with a strong background in aerospace to market and sell our software and services, develop relationships with other organizations, as well as lead some of the programs after the contracts are in place. The ideal candidate will have solid technical, communication, and leadership skills to continue to grow and manage this thriving, cutting-edge business.



U.S. Citizenship required

Bachelors degree in relevant major (aerospace engineering, astronomy, physics, computer science)

5+ years experience in the space industry

5+ years experience in business development

Familiarity with government business opportunities processes (fed biz opps)

Strategic customer service orientation, with the ability to form long-term relationships with clients

Strong ability to communicate internally and externally, translating dev speak to client speak and vice versa

Exceptional presentation skills and confident speaking during internal/client meetings

Highly efficient and detail-oriented with demonstrated capabilities around time management

A passion for innovation


Main Responsibilities:

Business Development

Meet with customers at conferences and trade shows

Coordinate and develop proposals for government and commercial opportunities

Expand contacts in industry, government, and academia

Write papers for trade shows

Build business based on industry activities and government opportunities

Lead customer interactions by presenting corporate capabilities and running software demos

Team Leadership for Program/Product/Project

Highest level technical architect

Manage schedule

Manage task lists

Manage budget

Review tests and documentation

Primary point-of-contact with customer
