OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS
Salary range is $140,000-$160,000 (potential for bonus compensation)

POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Board of Directors and partnering with the current CEO, the Co-CEO will be a strategic, visionary, and community-oriented leader responsible for overseeing the finances, day-to-day operations, and culture of RCF Connects. The Co-CEO will collaborate with the Board and executive leadership team to ensure the achievement of the organization's mission and vision, and accountability to its diverse constituents. The Co-CEO will forge an open and transparent relationship with the Board, working collaboratively to set a strong strategic direction and diversify its voice and membership, while ensuring regulatory compliance.
The Co-CEO will bring visionary leadership to the mission and sharp financial management and administrative acumen. RCF Connects offers impactful initiatives, across diverse locations, with a current operating budget of $4.3 million and nearly 35 employees. Working alongside the current CEO, Jim Becker, the new Co-CEO will oversee the evaluation, continued growth, and evolution of community change while creating opportunities for greater integration and collaboration. The Co-CEO will also continue to refine organizational structures and processes to ensure that all areas are mission-aligned and equipped for success. This new leader must be a champion for equity, inclusivity, and belonging.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
This position reports to the Board of Directors and oversees a team of six direct reports.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Visioning and Leadership
Develop timelines, metrics, and frameworks for monitoring, facilitating, and conveying advancements toward the realization of strategic plan targets.
Collaborate with the Board and personnel to execute strategic plans pertaining to finance, operations, systems, culture, and capacity enhancement.
Financial Oversight and Growth
In coordination with the Financial Director, manage responsibility for the organization’s fiscal health.
Lead the budgeting process, monthly financial reports and revenue strategy.
Collaborate closely with the board of directors, Co-CEO, and key staff to establish budget goals that support the organization’s short-term and long-term fiscal health.
Participate fully in the annual audit.
Oversee the fundraising budget management process, ensure accurate budgets and reports are presented to funders.
Administrative Operations and Workforce Development
Ensure that core administrative functions and processes effectively support and enhance the impact of RCF’s programs and initiatives.
Manage the Human Resources Generalist in developing and implementing policies and practices for recruitment, onboarding, professional development, and retention of a diverse and highly skilled workforce.
Oversee the Fund Development strategy, team members and processes.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, HR, and benefits administration, as well as smooth onboarding of new employees.
Manage insurance and risk management coverage, establish guidelines for compliance with various regulations, coordinate with legal counsel, when necessary.
Oversee the organization's Information Technology needs, and implement standardized procedures for managing partner, vendor, and contractor agreements, MOUs, and fiscal sponsorships.
Workplace Culture
Establish and oversee internal policies, systems, and practices to ensure that RCF’s core value of equity, inclusion, and belonging permeates throughout all organizational policies and practices.
Act as the primary internal liaison for RCF staff, facilitating communication of organizational plans and processes.

Ensure an environment that promotes mentorship, equity, and growth.
Board Governance
Optimize the effectiveness of the Board of Directors, ensuring the Board receives robust administrative support and timely reports.
Assist the Board in fulfilling their due diligence and fiduciary duties.
Monitor data on individual Board member contributions and overall Board fundraising efforts.
Organizational Structures and Processes
Ensure continuous alignment between organizational operations and values, providing clarity to RCF Connects staff, partners, and stakeholders regarding their roles and responsibilities.
Community Engagement and Reach
Participate in strategic communication and storytelling endeavors, amplifying the community's voices and shedding light on the significance of RCF Connects' vision, mission, and programs.
Identify educational and training prospects to enhance the communication skills of RCF Connects' community, staff, board members, and supporters.
Leadership
Offer guidance and coaching to help the community and staff enhance their self- awareness, reflection skills, self-empowerment, solidarity, and individual and group leadership capabilities.
Provide strategic support and establish operational agreements to foster a culture within the organization built on trust and encouraging participatory learning, reflection, assessment, and continuous improvement.
COMPETENCIES
At least 5 years of experience in a CEO, CFO, COO, Executive Director or similar role (no minimum educational credential), or at least 10 years of Director-level experience in the non-profit or service sector, or a relevant master’s degree plus 5 years of administrative or management level experience in the non-profit or service sector.
Demonstrated track record and working expertise in financial reporting, budget and revenue forecasting, and financial systems, and staff management.
Substantial experience overseeing the development of consistent financial policies and practices, and the development of the annual budget.
Experience working closely with the board of directors and key staff to establish budget goals that support the organization’s short-term and longer-term fiscal health.
Proven track record of promoting and supporting an internal culture of philanthropy.
Experience building relationships in multi-racial, multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, and multi- class settings.
Effective writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
Experience staffing boards and high-level decision-makers.
