SUMMARY

Our client is an engineering services company focused on systems engineering and testing for safety and mission-critical software and systems. They have a unique industry niche with over 14 years of performance history.

We are currently seeking a Recruiting Manager in either Minneapolis or Scottsdale. As part of the leadership team and a subject matter expert on recruiting, you will play a key role in the development of our recruiting team as well as the company’s overall strategy and success.

The Recruiting Manager is a key member of the delivery execution team and is instrumental in talent acquisition by leading a successful recruiting function for our innovative and fast-paced organization. Finding the best engineering talent that match the jobs is instrumental in achieving our goals. Our recruiting team’s mission is maximizing business results by understanding the job, finding and marketing our organization, introducing top talent, and ensuring we are delivering the highest quality hiring experience.

The ideal candidate is someone who has solid communication skills working closely with the Recruiting team and the Account Management team on expectations of the project specs. Technical acumen and ability to pick up speed quickly on complex projects/positions will be important. Someone who has had exposure to a services based agency will be best case scenario.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and mentor recruiting team, supporting them for their best performance
  • Develop recruitment strategies, implement recruiting metrics, and prioritize requisitions
  • Enhance processes and procedures to get more proactive about project ramp-ups and completions
  • Assess current recruitment tools and utilization to ensure maximum ROI
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process utilizing team and market research to get ahead of obstacles
  • Work closely with the VP of Delivery, Engineering Manager, COO, CFO and CEO to plan for upcoming needs

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of overall recruiting experience with at least two years leading or managing a team
  • Proven experience developing and implementing recruiting metrics and effective sourcing strategies
  • Strong understanding of non-traditional sourcing tools and resources
  • Adept with Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Ability to communicate with clients and internal C-level executives

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience recruiting technical and engineering professionals
  • Current or previous experience recruiting for a staffing agency
  • Employee relations experience managing engineering consultants
  • Expertise in Employee Referral Plans
  • Experience managing recruiting vendors
