For three decades, our client has been the market leader in portable sanitation and temporary climate control. We provide portable sanitation for commercial, construction, industrial, agricultural, special events and disaster relief, as well as heating and air conditioning rentals for special events and construction.

 Job Description:

The Director of Sales and Marketing manages all activities of the sales and marketing department. This position will focus on the development of new business while servicing and expanding existing client business to higher levels. This role will manage the planning, execution, and oversight of the sales and marketing department. Develop and deliver all our client’s product knowledge training programs to the sales staff which will also include our sales process and business development strategy.

 Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to the following)

  • Hire and train regional and local sales and marketing team members
  • Develop and implement sales strategies with aligning initiatives to grow the organization into new accounts
  • Oversee and organize the schedules and performance of sales department
  • Coach both inside and outside sales members in their existing process and methodologies
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees per company policy
  • Develop and implement the sales strategy through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing data on past performance, and projecting future performance
  • Monitor and improve specific, measurable performance metrics with the sales department
  • Consults with potential customers to understand theirs needs; shows and suggests services that will meet those needs
  • Provide support for sales team as they generate leads and close new deals
  • Hold prompt and regular coaching meetings with individual sales members to develop their skills, key account tactics, and forecast reports
  • Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to capture key demographics
  • Help potential customers discover their needs and recommend proper services
  • Ensures details are to the highest standards and shows pride in finished product
  • Establishes daily, weekly, and long-term project timelines and ensures they are met

  • Proficient with computer diagnostic equipment and software

 Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA) and/or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
