Responsibilities:
• Create and lead implementation of organizational procurement strategy to support rapidly growing
crypto / distributed computing hosting company
• Lead contract negotiations for high voltage electrical equipment; ASIC/CPU/GPU hardware; and other
high-volume equipment and materials
• Develop new or maintain existing relationships with strategic partners and key suppliers
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risk
• Establish procurement systems, processes, and tools
• Support logistics team on transportation, warehousing, and all domestic and international logistics
operations
• Create annual, quarterly, and project-specific procurement budgets • Accountable for performance to
established procurement budgets
• Coordinate with partners and internal teams to ensure timely invoicing, approval, and payments
• Collaborate with technology, operations, and site development teams on product development,
equipment, and hardware innovation
• Establish supply chain ESG goals and communicate to suppliers and subcontractors
• Accountable for organizational performance to supply chain ESG goals


Requirements:
• 10+ years of procurement or buying experience. Knowledge of electrical engineering or experience
buying electrical equipment preferred.
• Existing relationship with providers of high voltage, network and computing providers is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and knowledge of purchasing and logistics terminology and concepts
required.
• Will need to demonstrate the ability to lead contract negotiations independently.
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Travel 30%
