VP of Sales

Job Description:

  • Responsible for revenue growth and increasing profitability through participation in strategic planning and development of the 5-year plan.
  • Develop revenue forecast for annual sales goals, expense budgets and departmental plans with progress measured and reported in weekly L10 leadership meetings.
  • Use of the organization’s CRM and MIS system to establish and maintain required sales data and reporting to effectively analyze and manage the business
  • Excellent negotiation skills with solid judgment for making day-to-day business decisions around customer engagement and pricing.
  • Conduct team meetings and one-on-one meetings with team members to manage performance, provide coaching and guidance, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Strong facilitation and leadership skills that support and illustrate a commitment to teamwork, hard work, creativity, collaboration and communication.
  • Design and establish sales processes and controls that maximize efficiency and drive results.
  • Manage sales compensation plan that rewards business growth and strong margin, yet reinforces a culture of teamwork.
  • Recruit new sales talent who can deliver results and are a fit with the SeaChange core values and team-orientated sales culture.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing plus 5+ years related experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a management position
