CorTalent has been retained to find the perfect candidate for a small consulting firm in Minneapolis that partners with F500 businesses on the performance of their business. We are seeking a candidate who is prepared to take their career to the next level.

This person will present strategic market planning/spend to F500 executives. Being an expert in Excel, creating modeling and forecasting dashboards will be inevitable.

Required Skills:

  • Undergraduate degree, Masters degree for more senior level positions

  • 1-4 years non-academic or equivalent experience applied to quantitative problems and/or relevant school internships (preferably in a consulting, marketing, or brand management context using analytics).

  • Intermediate to advanced experience with manipulating data in Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables, Charts, VLOOKUP, OFFSET, INDEX, MATCH, SUMIF, etc.)

  • Experience with statistical techniques and packages

Position Responsibilities:

  • You will take significantly more responsibility for analysis design and model construction, including developing approaches to answer client requests.

  • You are expected to present your findings to the client and communicate the implications. It is expected that you will be able to take projects, usually smaller in size, with little to no supervision and lead an analyst in the work.

  • You will be expected to execute complex analyses and answer questions from managers with limited guidance.

  • At times you will be asked to help in other parts of the client development process, including assisting on proposals.
