Provide oversight to ensure that the company's expectations for delivering high quality products and corresponding processes are achieved. Develop, communicate, and lead the deployment of strategies to meet this aforementioned expectation. Facilitate organizational and employee development within these disciplines.
Develop and lead Quality Systems employees to execute plans and strategies in accordance with the Company's Value Proposition.
Oversee the alignment of the various quality functions in order to develop effective plans, policies, and guidelines that balance operational and customer needs.
Focus on the total cost of quality by working to meet the company's cost of poor quality (COPQ) reduction goals.
Oversee improvement and cost reduction activities channeled through the Improvement Planning Team (IPT).
Work with customers to ensure that quality concerns are disseminated throughout the business; work with Customer Services and R&D to oversee a program to correct product issues and ensure response with customers.
Establish appropriate metrics and systems designed to increase the capability, reliability, and repeatability of processes.
Bachelor of Science in Business, Engineering or related field. MS or MBA preferred.
