Responsibilities:

  • 7 to 10 years of sales experience within the professional services industry
  • A self-motivated consultative seller with a proven track record.
  • Proven ability to sell on value – Our client’s consultants are the best in the business and are priced accordingly.
  • Dedicated to getting to know the client’s needs to help them succeed.
  • Successful at identifying and reaching key decision makers within a variety of companies and industries, of varying sizes.
  • A natural networker with strong communication skills and can skillfully work with the rest of the client Team to delight our clients
  • Comfortable preparing and presenting pitches, incorporating research about the companies you’re targeting and making cold reach-outs.
  • Enjoys attending industry events (some evenings), meeting new people, and staying connected with contacts.

About the Position
As Director of Sales, you will be responsible for conducting research and analysis to identify your client’s needs and produce progress reports and presentations. Your focus will be on new business development – expanding presence in our chosen markets through outside sales. You will maintain a database of customer information, meet with clients, and assist in negotiations. You must have experience managing a sales cycle. You’re expected to maintain current relationships while at the same time building new business opportunities. You must have a strong eye for detail, accuracy, and professionalism.

As Director of Sales, you are responsible for growing our clients revenue each year. To accomplish this goal, you will work collaboratively with the rest of the Leadership Team. You will be responsible for developing and driving the sales strategy.

You’ll develop lead generation strategies and sales tools to secure and retain business. You’re also expected to meet sales goals and milestones.

Work with clients to complete custom enterprise software solutions for midsize to Fortune 100 companies primarily in Minnesota but recently expanded to include companies throughout the US. You'll promote our client as a leading provider of consultants at every stage of development: DevOps/Cloud, Scrum Masters, Business Systems Analysts, Quality Assurance, and Web and Mobile Application Development.

Our clients’ employees are currently working from home but this position is expected to be based out of our main office in Edina eventually. You will also be expected to eventually travel regularly to client sites and events throughout the Twin Cities metro.
