Our client was established in 2008 to expand their construction services, by offering creative solutions for unique and custom-built projects. They specialize in handcrafted millwork, specialty fabrication, retail fixture restoration, props, fiberglass and theming.  From large retail millwork packages to custom theme park props, their work is enjoyed by travelers and visitors all over the world

Position Overview

  • Oversee daily operations and makes adjustments as necessary, ensuring the organization is consistently “rowing” together in the same direction
  • Executes the business plan, achieving or exceeding established P&L objectives
  • Filters and translates the Visionaries ideas into functional plans for the company
  • Develops comprehensive goals for performance and growth strategies
  • Effectively resolve issues - must be comfortable with conflict, addressing issues, and solving problems in a practical and healthy manner
  • Identify areas of opportunities for capital improvements across the organization, including opportunities to improve revenue, increase margin, reduce cost, and increase profitability throughout the organization all while improving efficiency
  • Attract, retain, and develop a high-performing team
  • Lead, manage and hold direct reports accountable for achieving agreed-upon commitments
  • Cultivate and manage healthy relationships with strategic partners, subcontractors and vendors
  • Foster cooperation with staff to ensure Ideal operations for Accounting, HR, Marketing and Administrative functions, allowing cross-training and cross- assistance.
  • Consistently demonstrates a passion for values alignment, focus, simplicity, and clarity across the organization



  • Proven results as a business leader
  • Experience building high performing teams, including the ability to recognize and cultivate rising talent required
  • Adept at transitioning seamlessly from a strategic level vision to day-to-day tactical operations required
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics required
  • A demonstrated execution mindset and a record of success holding people accountable required
  • Understanding of and ability to create healthy organizational culture required
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills required
  • Experience working with an EOS® company strongly preferred
  • Varied experiences and responsibilities in Operations, Finance, and Human Resources strongly preferred
  • Experience leading high-performance teams within the Commercial construction industry strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 10 years management experience in construction industry preferably working for a General Contractor.
  • Participation in peer group forum for second stage companies

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • LMA all departments within the business
  • Profit and Loss
  • Execute Business Plan – weekly monitor
  • Scorecard for every employee
  • Remove Obstacles and Barriers
  • Special Projects
  • Hold 5/5/5 quarterly discussions with each employee
  • Ensure all Annual reviews are conducted
  • Develop compensation policies and incentive plans for leadership and middle manager employees
  • Responsible for communication across the company and develop motivational techniques in supervising, counseling and disciplining subordinates
  • Semi-annual audit of department and managers compliance with EOS principals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Build staff for future growth by Interviewing, hiring and successfully on boarding new Superintendents and Project Managers
  • Deal with attorneys and CPA when needed
  • Develop relationship with bonding agent and Surety Company
