Generator Service Sales Coordinator

Position Overview:

HM Cragg is an 100% employee owned company with an extremely impressive growth history with a stock price increase of over 600% in the past 10 years! The Generator Service Sales Coordinator creates and executes the sales and go-to-market strategies for the Service and Installation Department. The person in this role is focused on sales growth and profitability covering the geographic area of IA & NE.  

Reporting Relationship:  The Generator Service Sales Coordinator will report to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing. 


  • Grow service revenue base through expansion of product offerings and new customer penetration and  capture
  • Meet or exceed targeted sales and margin growth
  • Anticipate and react quickly to market trends and communicate with appropriate departments to help create service sales strategies to meet developing needs
  • Effectively use CRM tools to manage account activity and communications with other HMC sales personnel
  • Accurately forecast expected sales on a monthly basis
  • Provide quotes, presentations and follow-ups to close business
  • Represent HM Cragg in a professional, ethical, and socially responsible manner
  • Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge relevant to that required to fulfill job responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records, manage receipts and expense reports, and submit reports on time on a monthly basis



  • Proven ability to sell standalone services to clients
  • Strong prospecting skills and ability to break through potential customer rejections
  • Knowledge of DC Power Systems, Uninterruptible Power Systems and
  • Knowledge of the Energy & Infrastructure markets and buying behaviors of those customers
  • Knowledge of Cellular Provider industry
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Solid computer skills with experience in using Microsoft Outlook and Office products

Posting Qualifications:

  • 4 year college degree or equivalent, technical degree preferred but not required
  • 5 years of excellence in a technical sales role
