Our client out of Saint Paul, MN is looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager who believes in the value of people! As the HR Manager, you will use creative solutions to recruiting, seamlessly and professionally onboard employees, and work with management to identify, coach, and manage the performance of employees. 

 

Objective: The Human Resource Manager will get the top talent hired and contributing to the organization as expeditiously as possible while ensuring a safe and harmonious relationship between employees.

Duties:

  • Determine best practices and methods for recruitment and onboarding for entire organization
  • Recruitment and Onboarding of Salaried employees
  • Benefits Selection and Administration-Coordinate Open Enrollment
  • Coach managers in hiring, firing and performance management decisions
  • Leads company efforts to ensure Labor Law Compliance
  • Develop and implement employee performance and evaluation programs
  • People Policies - develop, document, update and communicate. This includes the employee handbook, job descriptions and other policies relating to employees
  • Assist with the annual budget for training, benefits and HR related expenses
  • Overall maintenance of HRIS System
  • Salaried Payroll and import of hourly payroll
  • 401(k) Administrator
  • Create and monitor People related scorecard measurements

Direct Reports:

The People Cultivator will report directly to this role. This position is responsible for the recruitment and onboarding of hourly employees, safety, and field employee engagement.

Job Requirements:

Educational/Experience Requirements: Seven plus years of HR and/or recruiting experience, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in HR, Business or Organizational Development, Spanish speaking (desired), SHRM Certification/Active involvement in local HR organizations.

Physical Demands: Must be flexible with schedule. May require early morning or late afternoon hours at times. Will require periodic travel to other locations or jobsites. Must be available by phone for emergencies. Must have a valid driver’s license.
