Ready to have some fun in the outdoor products arena? Rhino Inc. is seeking a Vice President of Sales and Marketing to help further develop our fast-growing group of companies producing innovative products for fishing, hunting, marine recreation and power sports – all driven by our expertise as the Midwest’s 5th largest custom rotational molding manufacturer. This person will focus on our brands of Otter Outdoors, Beavertail/DOA Decoys and Rhino Tuff Tanks-wholesale, while occasionally assisting with matters involving our other brands Wave Armor, Rhino Custom and American Rhoto Tool.

In addition to enjoying the outdoors, the VP of Sales and Marketing will be an effective leader and player who is able to develop high-performance teams and work effectively to support the needs of individual business units within Rhino Inc. The ideal candidate will be action-, deadline- and accountability-oriented, focused on attention to detail and accuracy, and have excellent interpersonal skills able to interact with diverse personality types. He or she also will be encouraged to look for ways in which they can serve as a change agent to help us become even better at what we do.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee new and existing product sales and marketing campaigns including product launch management, sales training , presentations, sales tools and competitive analysis to successfully meet or exceed revenue goals.
  • Develop and execute an annual sales and marketing business plan including objectives for everyone on sales and marketing teams and related KPIs with which to gauge success.
  • Design and integrate new processes to enhance team performance; establish high levels of quality, accuracy, and process.
  • Design and implement effective marketing tools to evaluate ROI on marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct and present insightful analyses on major sales and marketing initiatives, challenges, and opportunities; recommend solutions that can be easily interpreted by non-analytical partners.
  • Analyze data and deliver actionable recommendations to improve customer acquisition and conversion.
  • Direct, manage and develop sales and marketing team members.
  • Conduct personnel activities such as hiring, training, work and staff scheduling, resource allocation; establish employee developmental plan at the beginning of the year in collaboration with each direct report.
  • Research key customer wants and needs, and effectively communicate with the sales leadership team
  • Resolve customer complaints in an effective and respectful manner

 Experience:

  • BS or BA degree in Marketing, Sales or a related field.
  • Ten or more years of relevant work experience in sales operations, business planning, marketing, or sales support/marketing support management roles.
  • Ten years of experience leading others.
  • Ability to listen to and partner with sales leaders to understand customer requirements and feedback.
  • Experience leading and championing projects.
  • Managed multiple projects and deals under tight timelines.
  • Cultivated strong trusting stakeholder relationships at executive levels.
  • Data analysis experience necessary for measuring and analyzing online marketing campaigns including organic and paid search, email, affiliate, display and social.

  • Strong within Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Current in the use of technology including texting, social media, geofencing, and data analytics.
  • Experience with website design, video production and use of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat and Premier a plus.
