Position Overview:

CorTalent is seeking an Associate Recruiter to proactively support project-based client work. The person in this role will work as part of a team to provide support in the areas of research, sourcing, calling, interviewing, and presenting of qualified candidates. This person will help develop, implement, and follow the policies, procedures and best practices of CorTalent's recruiting process. Specific areas of expertise needed include, but are not limited to, the ability to effectively research and manage multiple priorities at once; producing work with a high attention to detail and thoroughness, and proven experience working in an efficient and process-oriented manner.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Recruitment/Staffing:

  • Assists in researching, developing and executing advertising, recruiting strategies, and talent sourcing channels for attracting candidates - utilizing this knowledge to build a network
  • Networks within community/social groups and uses personal connections to generate applicant leads
  • Creatively sources candidates through cold calling, associations, LinkedIn, rosters, Colleges, Universities, networking etc.
  • Builds networks to find qualified passive candidates
  • Posts new openings on ATS, LinkedIn, and other appropriate sites
  • Qualifies candidates via phone and video
  • Assists in arrangement of client on-site interviews, reference checks, background checks, assessments and on-boarding as requested
  • Learns how to recognize the culture needs of each Client
  • Demonstrates the want and desire to grow in recruiting knowledge and ability

 

Administration:

  • Successfully tracks, maintain and updates a record of all candidates interviewing for open positions and tracks all resources used for positions being worked on for clients
  • Maintains detailed records of all client and candidate information and communications
  • Collaborates and maintains regular contact with the project team regarding hiring needs, areas of focus and 'must haves' of the client to secure the best talent
  • Performs administrative tasks as designated by Manager

 

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in research, marketing, high level administrative tasks and working directly with customers/clients in a professional setting
  • Efficient in Microsoft products including Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Efficient in using social media tools and techniques
