Opportunity Overview:

The COO is a newly created position that will sit on the Executive Leadership Team to focus on enhancing business growth. As this leader, you will work closely between the CEO and delivery team to enhance relationships, processes, and procedures that will improve the business functionality. The CEO has key relationships with major Fortune 100 businesses internationally, so you will work closely on expanding these relationships and accounts, in addition to building on the strategic plan to gain market share with these niched clientele.

The ideal candidate has expertise selling technical services and solutions mixed with strong operational leadership abilities. You will have the opportunity to step up to the plate for an extremely reputable company in their space, which will also come with unlimited earning potential. If you are strategic, strong with key client relationships, and have a knack for clear communication with the delivery team, you will succeed in this role.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hires and develops leaders in each functional area under Sales and Operations.
  • Conducts weekly company and team meetings.
  • Embraces and implements continuous improvement strategies to increase quality and project completion and reduce operating costs. Responsible for training and coaching employees on client billing and financial management.
  • Develops, recommends, and implements Operations policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Creates and recommends to CEO business plans and objectives in spending/billing, talent management, day-to-day operational communications.
  • Reviews performance against operating plans and expectations.
  • Supports strategic plan by developing, leading, and managing longer-term projects.
    • Serves as the ‘right-hand’ to the CEO to help plan, execute and manage across the organization.
    • Provide input for the Company’s overall business plan, executes in helping to achieve or exceed planned P&L objectives.
    • Be a catalyst for resolving issues across the Company effectively- seeing real problems, being comfortable with conflict, calling out the problems, and assisting in solving the problems in a practical and healthy manner. Ensures the leadership team is healthy, functions, and is cohesive.
    • Works cross-functionally to enhance core processes and operational system with consistency.
    • Can filter and translate the ideas of the CEO into a functional plan for the Company.
    • Confirms that all key messages are properly cascaded through the organization.
    • Builds business by building and maintaining key relationships with clients.
    • Identifies market opportunity by researching and analyzing sales options.
    • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing industry information.
    • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

      Qualifications and Competencies: 

      • Bachelor’s Degree
      • 15+ years in a strategic sales and operations leadership role
      • Demonstrated ability to execute against a business plan
      • Experience setting strategy and communicating direction
      • Expertise navigating enterprise or largely matrixed organizations
      • Proven influencing skills and ability to drive results
      • Dedicated people leader, focused on assessing, developing, and leading talent
      • Superb communication skills, both written and verbal
