Regional Sales Manager

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for selling Machining and Die Casting services directly to users within industries such as Military and Defense, Aerospace, Energy, Recreational, Agriculture and Industrial Application companies.

Essential Functions

  • Formulate sales plan and implement sales strategies for the territory
  • Develop recommendations for sales expansion, identifies opportunities for growth, and key target industries
  • Lead sales team to achieve established goals by insuring specific individual goals are met
  • Follow up on internet leads and works with sales representative team to create opportunities
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and proactively address performance issues
  • Assist sales representatives with daily responsibilities
  • Work with Marketing Department to develop strategies
  • Travel with outside sales representatives visiting customers or prospects within target industries

  • 10+ years experience selling contract Machining; Die Cast services a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
  • Technical experience, including an understanding of engineering and ability to read and understand blueprints and customer requirements
  • Experience working with an outside sales representative team
  • Strong motivation, leadership, and communication and negotiation skills
  • Travel 30% of the time
  • Experience using digital tools and software (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite); strong PowerPoint experience required
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
