The Account Manager is a customer facing project management position that leads and services customer accounts, establishes and cultivates strong business relationships with customers, and represents the customer to the internal team.

Essential Responsibilities

• Be the primary customer contact, communicating via phone and email

• Consolidate, analyze and present internal data to customer with appropriate comments for status on scheduling, production, shipping and order history as required

• Manage customer expectations for lead time and order management, using internal metrics on order/schedule updates and production performance metrics

• Project manage customer account from order to close to ensure timely delivery

• Work closely with cross functional teams – Purchasing, Scheduling, Quality, Production and Shipping

• Process orders in ERP and maintain customer and product files and records

• Acquire working knowledge of company’s container, formulation, design, filling and packaging solutions

• Able to travel minimally to attend industry trade shows or visit a customer site


Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing

• 5 years of Sales Account Management

• Able to identify and lead process improvements

• High attention to details, exhibited by developing and analyzing data, providing summary reports to meet customer requirements

• Demonstrated project management skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working for a contract manufacturer

• Experience in a high growth, dynamic environment

• Consumer products / CPG experience
