Opportunity Overview:

The Sales and Design Consultant is responsible for developing and executing a strategic prospecting plan, generating sales opportunities and selling projects to clients seeking a partner to design and implement lighting solutions that are often energy and cost-saving focused, incorporating LED.

Required Skills:

  • Outside B2B sales experience in preferred, but we are willing to train a candidate that is driven to succeed in sales.
  • Experience in the lighting industry is beneficial, but we are willing to train a candidate that is passionate about sustainability and learning an ever-changing, technology-driven industry.
  • 2-4 year college degree is preferred; High school diploma is required.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving history, and a reliable means of transportation required
  • Computer, device, and software proficiency is required.

 

Responsibilities

  • Follow our outline for success by exceeding all weekly productivity benchmarks.
  • Help customers identify and define their lighting upgrade design goals and project requirements.
  • Educate customers on the energy benefits, and various programs and incentives available, when upgrading their lighting.
  • Collaborate with TRC’s Project Development team to provide project solutions that meet all customer expectations.
  • Close sales on a consistent basis.
