Maintenance Leader (Supervisor) – Beverage Manufacturing

A leading beverage manufacturing facility in Dallas, TX is seeking a Maintenance Leader (Maintenance Supervisor) to oversee maintenance operations for a high-speed production line. In this role, you'll take ownership of equipment reliability and performance, working collaboratively as part of a line leadership trio alongside a Process Engineer and a Production Line Leader across 1-2 lines and supervise 4 technicians. This position is critical to ensuring the effective execution of maintenance plans and driving equipment uptime.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and prioritize work orders and maintenance notifications within 24 hours of generation
Maintain a current and organized work order backlog for reporting and tracking
Lead daily maintenance meetings to review completed jobs, adjust plans, and align on priorities
Coordinate planned stops to integrate preventive maintenance tasks and work orders
Schedule weekly and monthly maintenance activities in line with the annual maintenance plan
Optimize line startup, shutdown, and major interventions in collaboration with line leadership
Ensure all maintenance technical documentation is current and accurate
Develop One Point Lessons (OPLs) and train production team members on key maintenance tasks
Monitor key maintenance KPIs and in-process metrics to assess reliability and continuous improvement
Support Autonomous Maintenance (AM), Breakdown Elimination (BDE), Centerlining (CL), and Clean-Inspect-Lubricate (CIL) initiatives
Lead improvement planning based on indicator trends and equipment performance data
Manage and implement equipment design changes through Change Management protocols
Partner with the storeroom to track parts inventory, usage, and obsolescence
Participate in vendor acceptance testing and provide design feedback on new equipment
Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for developing plant maintenance systems
Champion safety and compliance in all maintenance activities and ensure adherence to plant safety standards
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Leader in a manufacturing environment (food & beverage or CPG preferred)
Strong knowledge of preventive and autonomous maintenance systems
Skilled in maintenance planning, work order management, and continuous improvement
Effective communicator with leadership skills and a collaborative approach
Comfortable analyzing KPIs and maintenance metrics to drive improvements
Familiar with CMMS systems, equipment documentation, and technical schematics
