Job Title: Corporate Controller
Location: Arlington, TX (Hybrid – In Office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Reports To: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Compensation: $115,000 – $125,000 base + 15% performance bonus
Direct Reports: 3 (Senior Accountant, Accounts Payable Specialist, Accounting Associate)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned and ethical Corporate Controller with at least 10 years of manufacturing finance experience—ideally in chemical, energy, or food & beverage sectors—to oversee accounting operations across our three plant locations. This is a critical leadership role responsible for cost accounting, internal controls, financial reporting, and oversight of daily accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all accounting operations including general ledger, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition
Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and reports
Oversee and mentor a team of 3 direct reports, ensuring strong controls, accountability, and performance
Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure ethical financial practices
Partner with the COO to provide financial insights that drive operational efficiency across all plant locations
Maintain oversight of plant-level accounting activities at our facilities in Indiana, Maryland, and Arlington, TX
Lead and support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
Ensure compliance with GAAP and all relevant federal, state, and local tax regulations
Manage audits and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors
Support ERP system optimization and standardization of accounting procedures across sites
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA strongly preferred
Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 5 years as a Controller in a manufacturing environment
Strong cost accounting experience is required
Industry experience in chemical, energy, gas, or food & beverage manufacturing preferred
Proven ability to manage accounting teams and drive process improvements
Ethical, detail-oriented, and trustworthy with a strong sense of fiduciary responsibility
Experience working in organizations with multi-site operations is a plus
Knowledge of ERP/accounting systems and intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Preference given to local or Texas-based candidates
Work Environment & Schedule:
Hybrid schedule: In-office Tuesday through Thursday, with remote flexibility on Monday and Friday
Occasional travel to plant locations in Indiana and Maryland may be required (less than 10%)
