Phone Triage LPN

Career Personnel Services - Birmingham, AL

A large regional medical group is looking to add a Certified LPN to their Phone Triage team.  The ideal candidate will provide courteous and professional service when answering and directing calls, maintain patient confidentiality, and comply with HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' medical needs
  • Submit medication refills
  • Updating patient demographics
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with phone system, office equipment, and relevant software
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods and lift/carry up to 20 pounds
  • Note: This job does not require direct patient care and has no exposure to blood or body fluids.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Licensed Practical Nurse Certification from an accredited school of practical nursing
