Data Analytics Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Manage implementation of analytics focused projects by understanding requirements with stakeholders, working with solutions architects to develop a strategy of execution, problem solving issues during development, validating the final product, training stakeholders, and migrating the product into production.
  • Work closely with stakeholders from all regions where the company operates to identify areas of analytics where we can help increase efficiencies and help develop better insights through technology.
  • Work closely with development teams local and international to translate stakeholder requirements for technical leads, and to drive technical workflows for both implementation and testing. Also, being able to explain the development strategy to stakeholders who are not technical experts.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of data collection from various source systems in multiple countries and foster a consistent strategy to centralize data into our internal data lake.
  • Collaborate with product managers, marketers, and analysts to integrate analytics into strategic-minded dashboards, program-based reports, develop insights, and ad-hoc analyses.
  • Identify and analyze trends and shifts in customer behavior, both independently and in collaboration with product managers, marketers, and data analytics resources across various brands and multiple customer channels.
  • Help develop a global analytics framework with a standardized data visualization tool and data warehouse architecture.
  • Support creation of reporting materials for quarterly business reviews and senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant analytics experience.
  • A deep understanding and experience with data mining, developing insights, data architecture, and data analysis.
  • Strong familiarity with Excel. Proficiency in Tableau, SQL preferred.
  • A willingness to collaborate and cultivate relationships with stakeholders from various brands and regions, third-party data solutions vendors.
  • Experience architecting data collection solutions and creating visually insightful reports.
  • A love for challenges and problem solving to be addressed via strategic thinking.
  • A highly analytical mind with a demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative and qualitative analyses.
  • The ability to work with little supervision while managing multiple priorities, quickly adapt in a rapidly changing environment, has a strong sense of accountability and ownership, and able to pivot at an instance and move forward.
  • Comfort drawing insights from analysis and building support for your perspective, having a keen eye to simplify complex, large data sets into easily digestible visualizations.
  • The ability to be a quick learner who thrives under ambiguity.
