In this role, you will:

  • Research, build, test and improve predictive models leveraged in software products (current and future)
  • Independently run data science projects end-to-end, while also directing and reviewing data scientific work products from other team members
  • Collaborate on the iterative development of the data science roadmap
  • Partner with the development team to ensure both statistical and systematic accuracy in the product
  • Work closely with the marketing, sales, analytics, and product teams to plan and execute the delivery of research and software products utilizing effective and efficient scalable technologies

 The Person…

  • Proven track record of developing and deploying data science models, preferably at a technology company
  • Excellent Python or R coding skills for the purpose of developing and testing machine learning and statistical models
  • Fluency and confidence in building and deploying classification and recommendation engine systems based in AI/ML/NLP
  • High comfort and competence generating and interpreting statistical models, analyses, graphs and data
  • Ability to explain and present complicated concepts and research projects to diverse audiences
  • Experience with data related to human resources, compensation, employment, or the workplace is a plus
  • Well-organized with good time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail in all aspects of your work, but especially around the reliability, accuracy and maintainability of your code
  • Enjoys and thrives working in a dynamic team environment solving complex problems that regularly require independent research with minimal supervision
  • Driven to provide customer-focused solutions that meet their needs in a flexible, and often proactive way
  • Passion about the mission to close pay gaps and pay everyone fairly and equitably

The Requirements...

  • 5+ years of industry/corporate experience building machine learning models and/or services
  • Preferred master’s degree with significant course work in a quantitative field, such as economics, statistics, mathematics, physics, or computer science
  • Authorization to work in the United States
