Aerospace Engineer

Our company is seeking an Aerospace Engineer to become a team member of the UTM (Unmanned Air Traffic Management) project and the Conformal Lightweight Antenna Structures for Aeronautical Communication Technologies (CLAS-ACT) project.

Key Job Function:

  • Develop design criteria for aeronautical or aerospace products or systems

  • Plan and conduct experimental flight planning activities and manage flight testing assets

  • Evaluate product data and design from inspections and reports using MATLAB and PostgreSQL

  • Process and analyze data

  • Generate figures and reports for data analysis using mathematical models or other methods of computer analysis

  • Create test reports and charts


  • Proficiency with SQL

  • Proficiency with MATLAB or equivalent data analysis tool

  • Version control using GIT and subversion

  • Experience with the Atlassian stack (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)

  • Strong knowledge of geometry, trigonometry and linear algebra

  • Knowledge of RF link analysis

  • Experience performing data analysis in aerospace applications

  • Experience working with a Linux OS such as RedHat or Centos

  • Ham radio license
