Our company is one of the largest non-prime providers of RF/microwave and microelectronics, designing and manufacturing high performance systems, electro-magnetic power, subsystems, modules and components for microwaves, security applications, etc.We are seeking a Power Engineering Manager with strong leadership skills to join our team of over 1800.
Manage a team of engineers to translate and design highly technical concepts and specifications into complex power conversion and distribution applications as well as directing and coordinating product designs
Ability to design AC/DC power conversion and distribution hardware
Develop block diagrams and specifications for distribution for specific circuit design and analyze power distribution and conversion equipment
Devise and implement value engineering and quality improvement projects
Monitor products to established quality levels and adjusts designs and processes to meet or exceed standards of timely completions, cost targets and technical performance
Bachelor of science degree in Electrical Engineering AND
3-5 years in a manufacturing environment – preferably in an electronics environment or related,
Managerial experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
3-5 years Design highly technical concepts and specifications into complex power conversion and distribution applications
1-3 years experience designing AC/DC power conversion in distribution hardware
Familiar with JFSS, ADS, Ansoft, MatLab, Solid Works, CAD
Electrical Engineering degree
Ability to work in an ITAR integrated facility
Experience designing products for Military applications
