Chief Strategy Officer

DGW Group (Anpo) - United States

Organization Overview

Anpo is a newly established 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, having evolved from a successful seven-year initiative under Wend Collective. Founded in 2024, Anpo is at an exciting stage of growth, with three years of secured funding and a vision to build a transformative organization. Operating as a fully remote team, Anpo is led by Founding Chief Executive Officer Jodi Archambault (Hunkpapa/Ogla Lakota), a citizen of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe.

Anpo’s vision is a world where Indigenous Peoples, families, and communities are reconnected to our lands, languages, and cultures. Rooted in an ethos of service, Anpo is dedicated to supporting Indigenous leaders, communities, and Tribal Nations in their efforts to foster regeneration, healing, and resilience. Our name, Anpo, meaning "morning dawn" in Lakota, reflects the organization’s mission and spirit. It symbolizes reawakening and renewal, connecting us to our histories, languages, and traditions while reminding us of the boundless possibilities each new day brings.

We approach our work through the lens of values deeply connected to our worldview as Indigenous Peoples:

  • Mitakuye Oyasin (“We are all related”) – Recognizing the interconnectedness of all living things.

  • Reverence for Indigenous wisdom, knowledge, and cultures – Honoring the foundations of our communities and traditions.

  • Trust as the foundation of all relationships – Building authentic and lasting connections.

  • Sustainability as the pathway to healing – Ensuring our practices foster long-term resilience and renewal.

This is a pivotal moment to join Anpo and contribute to building an organization dedicated to creating meaningful, lasting impact for Indigenous Peoples and the lands, languages, and cultures that sustain them.
