Payroll Manager - Stamford/Greenwich CT

We are working with a multistate organization whose corporate office is near Greenwich CT. The CFO is looking to add a solid Payroll Manager to the team. The Payroll Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the payroll process for this multistate organization.

High volume processing with a payroll audit background is necessary. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receive payroll and compile multi-state, multi-location payroll data
  • Compute and post wages and reconcile any errors, including making any hard changes and executing the weekly upload
  • Record any wage changes, exceptions, insurance coverage and loan payments, preparing periodic earnings, taxes and deductions reports, in addition to separation and termination checks as needed as well as unemployment and state withholding accounts
  • Process payroll reconciliations, add new employees, making hourly/salary changes and deposit and transfer from operating into payroll account for processing
  • Serve as SME for all payroll information

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree – preferred
  • 4+ years of multilocation payroll experience
